| Smaller motorized units built on an automotive manufacturers van/light pick-up chassis with cab attached. These smaller motorized units offer many of the same facilities and luxuries as do the Class A's but with more maneuverability. They usually measure 20-30 feet in length. | ||

| Probably the most popular class of towable RV. This is a hard sided unit, spanning from 12-35 feet and is transported by means of bumper or frame hitch attached to the towing vehicle. Most are equipped with electric and water capabilities on board as well as toilet facilities. Self contained operation is possible with most travel trailers but may be connected to facilities at RV parks/ campgrounds for extended stays. Light weight travel trailers have been introduced to accommodate the newer, smaller economy cars often aerodynamically designed to help reduce drag and strain on the smaller engines. |

| This unit can be equipped the same as the conventional travel trailer but is constructed with raised forward section that creates a bi-level floor plan. This style is designed to be towed by a vehicle equipped with a fifth wheel hitch. These also have self contained facilities and offer many of the comforts of home. | ||
